As part of communication course, Dr Nikhil is organizing a competition for you with the theme of better communicators. The competition categories are :
1. Design / Redesign the Product brochures of Jodo, Tangram and Number Balance
2. Develop a film ( 15 - 20 min.) on Mandi - as Effective B School Learning method
There are cash prizes for the winners. Industry captains will be evaluating your redesigned brochures. Useful certificates will be awarded for the winners.
You need to submit your entries by 10 Aug 2009.

Navnirmiti - NGO details
Navnirmiti is an organisation which provides Mandi toys for selling for NITIE students. This NGO is aimed at developing low cost and high impact mathematics teaching eduational aids for poor and down trodden population. Mandi logo has particular design.. as you see it around.
1. ENGLISH Lettering FOR MANDI : Monotype cursive writing MUST ONLY BE used
2. Hindhi lettering : there is design for this specifically being done.. it needs to be the same every time and every place..

The above slogan is the pedagogical mantra of mandi. The following is the meaning for the slogan.
Soachao.. Baechao: This means that students while engaging in selling need to think and sell. This is the true learning for any Business school curriculum. With out thinking selling does not becomes learning..
Baechao.. Soachao: This is the second part of the slogan. It means that unless u sell your learning is incomplete. It is the selling which is the true measure of your learning. Further , learning by selling is the ultimate. It is much better than some X , Y, Z case study brought from so great B School.
Baechao .. means more than sheer selling... It is not taking money from some body else by rendering some service / product. It is enabling the world to behave a way you want to. It includes motivating, educating, inspiring and finally making people commit to what you say . It includes selling of ideas / faiths / beliefs to other people..
Soachao.. Seekahoo.. : this is the third part of the slogan.. Here the learners constantly engaged in learning and thinking.. it is unending process. Once sold.. million times one can think and learn on the same and trillion meaning and messages one may get.
The process is continuous and happens in iterations every time and all the time.

Mandi 2009 @ NITIE is scheduled on Aug 1, 2009. Industry captains, celebrities and illustrious nitie alum will be part of the inaugural function on Aug 1, 2009. This year 350 nitie students mentored by their senior students will be participating in Mandi. U R WELCOME to be part of the program.
